Success! I was so worried about the pizza crust turning out, but the recipe was spot on. Thank you Pioneer Woman!

Honestly though, how can skirt steak, caramelized red onions, balsamic vinegar, and a fresh ball of mozzarella go wrong?

I am mostly excited about being able to make my own pizza crust. A whole wheat Boboli crust costs about $5, a bag of whole grain flour and a container of yeast costs about that, only I can make 20 crusts. You do the math 😀

Thank you Grandma for my Kitchen Aid mixer and dough hook attachment:) (wedding gift)

Elizabeth not being a  fan of onions and vinegar, had her own little baby pizza on a slice of whole grain toast.

Hers had sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, and marinara sauce. She ate this whole piece plus a banana!

We finally settled on her Halloween costume…

Minnie Mouse! She is a die-hard fan of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She walked around the house in laps waving the costume around and pointing at the picture of Minnie Mouse on the package. She is pretty excited about this, I can tell. 😉

Weather is quite frankly hideous. Rain, winds, and just plain cold! To venture out to the mall during lunch or to stay cozy inside with a cup of tea and catching up on some reading? I have a feeling the cup of tea will win out!
